BMI welcomes Calvin Rosekrans as Associate Director, Writer-Publisher Relations, reporting to Samantha Cox, Assistant Vice President, Writer-Publisher Relations, out of the Company’s World Trade Center office in New York. As a new member of the team, Calvin will build BMI’s brand by scouting songwriters and acting as a liaison between BMI writers and publishers while coordinating events and showcases.

Although he is new to NYC, Calvin is no stranger to the BMI family. In 2010, Calvin worked for BMI’s urban division with Nicole Plantin and Malik Levy, Director and Senior Director of Writer-Publisher Relations in the Company’s Los Angeles office. He also previously worked for Arthouse Entertainment, Inc., where he acted as Creative Manager, a position that equipped Calvin with a deep knowledge of the inner workings of the publishing world that will undoubtedly benefit BMI in his new position.

In addition to a thorough understanding of the industry, Calvin’s analytical skills—particularly in business operations and financial model predictions—will greatly serve the Company in its established role as a leader in the intersecting worlds of music and technology.
