BMI’s Noche Bohemia Showcase Brings the Diversity of Latin Music to Miami

On the eve of the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame induction gala in Miami, BMI was pleased to present the Noche Bohemia showcase at Hoy Como Ayer on October 12, an evening of diverse Latin music highlighting the talents of six exceptional singer-songwriters. The line-up featured Latin GRAMMY nominees Periko and Jessi Leon, peermusic scholarship-winner Jessica Garcia, high-energy ensemble Kerreke, Caracas-via-Miami singer-songwriter Maye Osorio, versatile singer/songwriter/guitarist Leonard and Las Marti, twin-sister singer/songwriters from Colombia. Although all reared on traditional Latin sounds, these performers displayed a richly varied array of indie, rock, pop and dance rhythms unique to their individual styles.
