BMI Writers Take More Than 54% of 2015 BETs

The 15th annual BET Awards, which celebrate stars from music, television, radio, film and sports, was held at the Microsoft Theater in downtown LA on Sunday, June 28, with BMI superstars taking home more than 54% of the music category awards. In addition, BMI songwriter Janet Jackson was presented with the first-ever Ultimate Icon: Music Dance Visual Award for her “indelible mark on the world of music that transcends decades and generations.” Here’s a complete list of the other BMI winners.
