Both music categories, Best Original Song and Best Original Score, at the 70th Golden Globes Awards ceremony telecast live from the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, were won by BMI songwriters.

Congratulations to Adele (PRS) for her work on “Skyfall” (Best Original Song)

Congratulations to Mychael Danna for his winning score for “Life of Pi” (Best Original Score)

The glittering ceremony, held every January, is responsible for multi-million dollar donations to charity by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Every year, members of HFPA interview more than 400 actors, directors, writers, and producers, report from film sets and see more than 300 films by attending film festivals around the world in order to cast their vote.
