BMI and CMA award-winning singer/songwriter and Massachusetts native Lori McKenna performed at the annual Sound Bites awards ceremony sponsored by the Massachusetts Broadcasters Association (MBA) on Thursday, November 12, at the Framingham Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center. McKenna, one of Nashville’s most in-demand country songwriters, performed “Buy This Town,” “I Want Crazy” (Hunter Hayes), “Humble and Kind” (Tim McGraw), and 2015 CMA Single and Song of the Year “Girl Crush” (Little Big Town). McKenna’s album, “Numbered Doors,” was named by Rolling Stone as one of the 40 Best Country Albums of 2014.
