BMI Licensing Customers Enjoy a Taste of Nashville at Key West Songwriters Festival

BMI hosted a private reception at the Reach Resort in Key West, FL for a group of licensing customers that made the trip down south for the annual Key West Songwriters Festival (held 5/4-5/8). The gathering, which was sponsored by HD Radio, was highlighted by a performance from a group of hit BMI songwriters from Nashville, including iconic writer Even Stevens, who has written twenty-five No. 1 hits and received 54 BMI awards; Danny Myrick, who has written smash songs for Lo Cash, Tim McGraw and Jason Aldean; American Idol finalist Paul McDonald, GRAMMY award-winning artist/songwriter Bonnie Bishop; Skye Claire of the duo Whiskey Rose; and singer-songwriter Megan Linville. The BMI customers in attendance represented companies and associations such as Dave and Busters, MGM Resorts Intl, the South Dakota Retailers Association and the Sacajawea Hotel, along with radio groups Hubbard Radio, Beasley Broadcast Group, MacDonald - Garber Broadcasting Emmis Communications, Legend Communications, Big River Broadcasting and Neuhoff Media.
