BMI Celebrates Sturgill Simpson’s Signing

Broadcast Music, Inc. executive Perry Howard stopped by Sturgill Simpson’s performance at Nashville’s famed 3rd and Lindsley music venue to celebrate Simpon’s signing with Atlantic Records, as well as his signing with BMI. The songwriter performed tracks from his GRAMMY-nominated album Metamodern Sounds in Country Music to a sold out crowd. Simpson will continue hitting the road in support of the album, touring the country with spots at major festivals such as Coachella, Bonnaroo and Stagecoach, all the while working on a new record.
