BMI and White Bear PR Return To Comic-Con and Claim ‘I Love That Song!’
BMI’s Anne Cecere and White Bear PR’s Chandler Poling will again return to Comic-Con with another lively and informative panel discussion about music. This year’s edition, “I Love That Song! Composing, Scoring, and Singing Superhero Style,” will highlight the importance of music in superhero properties featuring renowned Emmy Award-winning composers and songwriters Michael McCuistion (Justice League Unlimited), Lolita Ritmanis (Spectacular Spider-Man), Kristopher Carter (Batman Beyond), and producer and lyricist James Tucker (Batman: The Brave and the Bold).
This will be the sixth time that the dynamic duo of Cecere and Poling will collaborate at the conference, this time going behind the scenes with some of the industry’s hottest scribes to reveal their methods for writing the music and songs of DC and Marvel’s finest properties, including two of DC’s newest ventures, Batman the Brave and the Bold: The Music Meister, and Batman: The Killing Joke. A Q&A will follow the panel with fun giveaways for the audience.
The discussion will be held from 1 - 2 p.m. on July 22, 2016, in room 28DE of the San Diego Convention Center, located at 111 W. Harbor Dr. in San Diego, CA. Be there and be aware of the trade secrets that await you!
