BMI and Society of Composers & Lyricists Celebrate Emmy-Nominated Composers

Broadcast Music, Inc. attended the Society of Composers & Lyricists’ (SCL) Emmy nominee reception on September 8 at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in North Hollywood, California, in celebration of those BMI composers nominated for a 2013 Emmy in the Outstanding Music categories. Attendees included composers Anton Sanko (Ring Of Fire), Mychael Danna (World Without End), Nathan Barr (The Americans and Hemlock Grove), David Schwartz (Arrested Development) and William Ross (The Oscars). Also present at the celebration were Emmy-winning BMI composers Gary Kuo, Kris Carter, Lolita Ritmanis and Michael McCuistion, along with BMI composers Miriam Cutler and Dan Licht.
