BMI Affiliates on Track to Win BET Awards

The 2014 BET Awards are right around the corner and BMI affiliates are set for big wins. Slated for June 29 in Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre and nationally broadcast on BET, the show honors the best of the past year’s R&B, Hip-Hop and Pop music, as well as movies, sports personalities and more. New Orleans newcomer August Alsina leads the pack of BMI nominees with an impressive four nods, including Best New Artist and Best Male R&B Pop Artist. Not far behind are Chris Brown and recent BMI signee Jhené Aiko, who both snagged three nominations including Best Male R&B Pop Artist and Best Female R&B Pop Artist, respectively. With performances by top-tier talent and Chris Rock hosting, the show is sure to be a fun one. Congratulations to all who were nominated!
