BMI Writers Join in to Celebrate 25 Years of the New York Songwriters Circle

Posted in News on November 1, 2016

Since its inception in 1991, the New York Songwriters Circle has been an important platform to advance music careers via a monthly live showcase held in the heart of New York City’s thriving Greenwich Village. From the stage of the legendary Bitter End club on Bleecker Street, many top artists have performed their original songs and received their start in the industry. Now on the 25th anniversary of the showcase, several of these talented music creators are coming home to celebrate.

In what promises to be a once in a lifetime performance, BMI singer/songwriters Tina Shafer, John Oates, Rob Mathes, Everett Bradely, Julie Gold, Ari Zizzo, Peter Zizzo, Jenny Bruce, Hugh Prestwood, Jane Kelly Williams and Billy Porter will return to the Bitter End’s historic stage on the evening of November 17, for two shows of diverse, inimitable talent and timeless, unforgettable music. Ticket information and further detail is available here.
