BMI Supports Song Arts Academy’s Fall Songwriters Workshop Starting September 19
BMI is proud to support Song Arts Fall Songwriters Workshop starting September 19 on Zoom. Taught by SAA Founder, Billy Seidman, author of The Elements of Song Craft, the workshop is based on his course syllabus used by NYU, The New School, and Berklee NYC Graduate Master Songwriting Programs. Participants should look forward to real results and writing some of their best songs to date, while learning how to network and develop collaborative skills. Writers will come away with four original new songs written by using SAA’s Advanced Song Craft Tools. They can also expect to excel in using “Smart Song Form” to swiftly build momentum for their melodies and lyrics in winning over and maintaining listeners. These are just a couple of the tools and strategies participants will accrue that are used by many of today’s hitmakers.
The four-week workshop meets four consecutive Monday evenings: 09/19, 09/26, 10/03 & 10/10, from 7pm to 9pm EST Live on Zoom. The cost is $400.00. The workshop is limited to 15 participants.
