BMI President and CEO Mike O’Neill & peermusic Honored at AIMP Holiday Mixer & Benefit

Kicking off the holiday season and coming together in a spirit of giving, the Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP) Los Angeles chapter held its annual holiday mixer, awards presentation and benefit event at BMI’s LA office on Thursday, December 15, 2016. A great networking opportunity, the celebration also supported several good causes, including the AIMP Linda Komorsky Liker scholarship fund, and a food and toy drive to benefit a local food pantry and The City of Hope research and treatment center.

During the festive event, legendary publisher peermusic was recognized as AIMP’s Indie Publisher of the Year, while BMI President and CEO Mike O’Neill accepted the Individual Award in Support of Songwriters and Publishers. The AIMP’s primary focus is to educate and inform music publishers about the most current industry trends and practices by providing a forum for the discussion of the issues and challenges confronting the music publishing industry.
