The Drama League-, Drama Desk- and Tony-honored BMI-Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop presented An Evening of New Songs for Musical Theatre on December 5, with works by songwriters in the Workshop, including Sophie Oberfield & Fernanda Douglas, Sami Horneff & Ben Diskant, Rick Rea Christopher Anselmo & Jared Corak, Melissa Weisbach & Jonathan Bauerfeld, Lauren Gundrum & Brandon Lambert, Jae Broderick & André McRae, Jill Abramovitz & Aron Accurso, Steve Wallace & Joshua Stackhouse, Kate Douglas & Jason Weisinger, Tia DeShazor & Derrick Byars, and Deborah Berenson & Kai Gross.
