Scheduled for a special ceremony on October 30, 2021 at 8 pm ET at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, OH, this year’s class of esteemed new inductees includes several BMI creators whose contributions have made a lasting and indelible mark on contemporary music.

In the performer category, legendary singer/songwriter Tina Turner, BMI Pop Icon Carole King, celebrated singer/songwriter/producer Todd Rundgren and preeminent rock band, Foo Fighters, will all assume their place in the Hall of Fame. Receiving the Early Influence Award, seminal Delta bluesman Charley Patton is being posthumously recognized for his deeply informative and inspirational effect on American music. Versatile rock, soul, funk, R&B and gospel singer/songwriter and prominent Beatles and Rolling Stones collaborator Billy Preston is also being posthumously celebrated with the Musical Excellence Award.

Please join us in congratulating our extraordinary songwriters on receiving this distinguished honor.
