BMI Congratulates its 2017 Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction Nominees

The Songwriters Hall of Fame unveiled its slate of nominees for induction in 2017, and 12 of them are legendary BMI affiliates. As an organization dedicated to honoring the contributions of the composers and lyricists responsible for the world’s most celebrated popular music, the Songwriters Hall of Fame will celebrate its final inductees at the 48th Annual Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction & Awards Gala on June 15, 2017, in New York City.

Eligible voting members will have until December 16, 2016, to turn in ballots with their choices of three nominees from a non-performing category and two from a performing category. Visit songhall.org/join for information on joining or renewing as a voting member before November 15 in order to participate in this election.
