Indie Spotlight: Eyes Lips Eyes
Eyes Lips Eyes, formerly known as Elizabethan Report (ER), is a spirited indie/alternative rock band formed in the county seat of Provo, Utah. They stuffed their bags and headed straight to the West Coast to introduce California to their aggressive new-wave style that combines elements of punk rock, avant-garde, pop and funk. Eyes Lips Eyes’ energetic live sets take showgoers to a happy place of high fives and sweaty dance offs, while mixing in machine-gun claps and continuous trashcan bashing. Their music embodies some of the best elements of the indie rock genre, yet scuffs it up like that fresh pair of Chucks.
