BMI will co-sponsor the inaugural New Noise Santa Barbara Music Festival & Conference, slated for October 8-10. With an emphasis on the intersection of digital media and music, the conference will connect executives, entrepreneurs, up-and-coming bands and established artists to one another and the issues currently shaking up the industry.

Panels playing host to experts will educate attendees during the day, while at night, networking opportunities and back-to-back live music will dominate the schedule. At area hotspots SOhO, Velvet Jones, Sand Bar and Whiskey Richards, performers including Michael Franti & Spearhead, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, Mad Caddies, No Use for a Name, Har Mar Superstar, Zach Gill (ALO) & Kyle Hollingsworth (String Cheese Incident), Dead Country, Sean Wheeler (Throw Rag) & Zander Schloss (Circle Jerks), The Martyrs Raining, Orlando Napier and more than 30 others will take the stage.

To register for the conference, view lineups and for additional information, please visit www.newnoisesb.com.
