BMI Brings Rock, Pop, and Hip-Hop Sounds to Its Lollapalooza Stage August 1-3
BMI is proud to announce the performers at its 2008 Lollapalooza stage. Beginning August 1-3 in Chicago, IL, at Grant Park’s Hutchinson Field, BMI’s stage will kick off performances at 11:15 a.m. each day, setting the pace at the mammoth music festival.
Presenting acts from the U.S. and abroad, the stage will showcase an array of burgeoning rock, pop, hip-hop and singer/songwriter acts emerging on the music scene. Performers on the BMI Lollapalooza stage range from blues/soul shouter Eli ‘Paperboy’ Reed to bass-thumping hip-hop duo The Cool Kids; the infectiousness of Your Vegas; and Newton Faulkner’s rhythmic guitar sparing. The eclectic line-up will provide an amalgamated sound, reflecting Lollapalooza’s wide-ranging approach in offering festival-goers performances that are unique and remarkable.
