Sonya Kitchell Captures Crowd With Mid-Day Performance At Hotel Cafe

BMI, in conjunction with Chrysalis Music, presented a stunning performance by Sonya Kitchell on June 5 at Hotel Café. Sonya delivered a well executed performance in support of her forthcoming release, The Storm, slated for release September 2 on Velour/Decca. The special lunchtime performance began with a few up-tempo folk-rock tunes that incorporated smart storytelling and climaxed with subtle guitar playing, which highlighted her vocal range.
