BMI, together with Gibson and Billboard, presented the latest installment of the Industry Insider series on April 8 at the Gibson Baldwin New York showroom.

Titled “Marketing & Publicity: How To Be Heard,” the session focused on proven marketing tips and publicity strategies designed to introduce independent music to consumer, including on-line and street-team marketing and how to obtain press coverage. Moderated by Billboard’s Bill Werde, the session’s guest speakers included Ariel Publicity & Cyber PR’s Ariel Hyatt, Powerhouse Entertainment’s Susan Maguire and The Syndicate’s Chris Elles.
