Ari Strikes Gold at Songwriting Competition
BMI singer/songwriter Ari Gold was named the Grand Prize Winner at the 2007 USA Songwriting Competition, for his song “Where The Music Takes You,” which showcases his fusion of r&b/dance/pop music. Gold’s song also won the 1st Place Prize in the Pop category, receiving $50,000 in prizes. The judge’s panel, consisting of music industry professionals, picked Gold’s composition out of 33,000 submissions vying for the top prize. “Where The Music Takes You” is from Gold’s new album, Transport Systems, in stores now.
