BMI Sponsors EMI Urban Writer’s Conference Producer Depot
The EMI Urban Writer’s Conference Producer Depot, sponsored by BMI, was held on March 26 at Nikki Beach Midtown in New York. The EMI Urban Writers’ Conference, dedicated solely for EMI’s urban writers and producers, features the heads of a&r departments from major labels, who present their current and upcoming projects. The writers/producers have a chance to speak with the a&r representatives and establish their own relationships as well as network with one another.
