Morgane Hayes Celebrates First No. 1, ‘Don’t Forget to Remember Me’

Friends and family of songwriter Morgane Hayes invaded BMI’s Music Row offices recently to fete her first No. 1 hit, Carrie Underwood’s “Don’t Forget to Remember Me.” BMI’s Jody Williams praised both Morgane’s singing and songwriting, noting that “we’ll all hear her pure, country vocals on the radio in due time.”

Pictured at the party are (l-r): BMI’s Shelby Kennedy, EMI’s Tom Luteran, Arista’s Butch Waugh and Skip Bishop, songwriter Morgane Hayes, 19 Recordings’ Chris Oglesby and BMI’s Jody Williams.
