Sons Of William

Photo

Brothers and Louisiana natives Joe and David Stark join New Orleans bassist Annie Clements to form rock trio Sons of William. Named after the brothers’ mentor and father Bill Stark, the band combines a thirst for progression with respect for their predecessors. “We feel we have found our own voice through constantly studying the music we love and abandoning self-imposed rules,” Joe explains. Joe Stark’s melodic vocals and lead guitar ooze sensuality and charisma, Annie Clements’ bass and harmony vocals moodily fill in the gaps, and David Stark’s drumming keeps the group tight and grounded. Sons of William are what everyone aches to discover—unpretentious and undeniable rock and roll.
