Kids Like No. 1 Parties, Too

A family-friendly, feel-good reception took place Monday, Sept. 11 at Nashville's Adventure Science Center to honor BMI songwriter Lee Thomas Miller's latest No. 1 hit, "The World" recorded by Brad Paisley. The invitation said "Kids Welcome," and publishers, songwriters and Music Row executives all obliged, arriving to enjoy the presentation and planetarium with their entire families in tow.

Pictured enjoying the celebration are (l to r): Songwriter Kelley Lovelace, Music of Stage Three's Tim Hunze, Brad Paisley, BMI songwriter Lee Thomas Miller, BMI's Jody Williams, and Music of Stage Three's Courtney Dashe, with Manny Rogers standing in for his father, producer Frank Rogers, in front.
