Daniel Powter, Holly Brook Share Stage in NYC

BMI executives were on hand at New York's Nokia Theater to catch a recent performance by two hot new BMI talents, Daniel Powter and Holly Brook, on tour together this summer.

Powter, the Canadian singer/songwriter who exploded onto the pop scene with his American Idol-fueled smash "Bad Day," is enjoying the success of that multiplatinum-selling single and wrapping up his tour of Japan and the U.S.

On the road in support of her recently released debut Like Blood Like Honey, Brook's sweet, dreamy vocals were first heard on her duet with hip-hop juggernaut Fort Minor, "Where'd You Go?", currently burning up at radio and on MTV.
