The Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Conference & Awards Show is the premiere event for the industry's who's who to network, share knowledge and discover new talent. The three-day event will feature savvy speakers, informative panels, skills-sharpening workshops, artist showcases, a stellar Awards Show line-up and more.

Panel discussions will cover a variety of topics, including the growing number of indie artists and labels, financial planning and legal guidance, teens and their tastes/purchases/opinions, branding, the digital craze, traditional radio vs. iPod, satellite, the Internet and cable radio, how to secure publishing, distribution and marketing (roundtable discussions) and the gospel music explosion.

The Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Awards honor the genres' most popular albums, songs, artists and contributors, as determined by actual sales data from Nielsen SoundScan and radio airplay information from Nielsen Broadcast Data Systems that informs Billboard's weekly charts.
