It’s An ‘Awful, Beautiful Life’ at the Top for Harley Allen

Triple Grammy-winning songwriter Harley Allen was honored with a party at BMI Nashville to celebrate the rise of his latest hit, "Awful, Beautiful Life," to the top of the charts. Co-written with and recorded by DreamWorks artist Darryl Worley, the song appears as the lead cut on Worley's latest self-titled album. Producer Frank Rogers and Allen's publisher Ten Ten Music were also honored for their contributions to the song's success.

Other #1 hits penned by Allen include Blake Shelton's "The Baby," Gary Allan's "Tough Little Boys," and John Michael Montgomery's "The Little Girl."
