‘My Place’ Brings Home Awards for Composer Randy Edelman

Executives in the BMI Los Angeles office recently presented acclaimed BMI film composer/songwriter Randy Edelman with multi-platinum album awards for rap star Nelly's Suit album, as well as the Capitol Records Now 17 release. Both CD's feature the Nelly track "My Place," which samples Edelman's 1975 song "Isn't It a Shame." Edelman also received co-writing credit on the Nelly hit.
