Songwriter Oliver Cheatham Visits BMI London

Songwriter/artist Oliver Cheatham stopped by the BMI London office recently to pick up and activate his BMI Card, an ATM/debit card that allows songwriters to access their BMI royalties directly from a special account.

Cheatham has been having chart success all over Europe with the Michael Gray pop/dance smash "The Weekend," which samples his 1983 hit song "Get Down, Saturday Night." He topped the European charts in 2004 when he made a surprise appearance with the band Room 5 on the track "Make Luv." Born in Detroit, Cheatham now lives in Surrey, England.
