BMI Honors Paul Winter at Annual Solstice Celebration

BMI composer/saxophonist Paul Winter (left) receives a Certificate of
Appreciation from BMI Senior Vice President Phil Graham in recognition of the 25th anniversary presentation of his "Winter Solstice
Celebration" concert held December 16 at the Cathedral of St. John the
Divine in New York City. Considered a world music pioneer, Winter and his Consort welcome the new season each year with a "theatrical
interpretation of our annual journey through the longest night of the
year."
