Music 2.0 Conference Offers Discount to BMI Writers

BMI writers enjoy a savings of $100 of the regular registration fee for the Music 2.0 conference being held December 8-9 at the Universal Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. Music 2.0: Reinventing Music in the Digital Age is co-sponsored by BMI and is iHollywood Forum's all music business executive summit.

This two-day gathering brings together industry leaders to analyze trends and developments affecting the business of digital music, including music's growing portability, digital distribution, piracy, desktop music production, industry consolidation, online marketing, and the rapidly expanding number of services targeting music consumers.

You can network, dine and make deals with the industry's most influential people, learn about the most compelling issues and cutting-edge technologies and leave with the tools to make money from digital music, not mistakes. Most of all, you will have direct access to the dealmakers creating these new markets, including BMI's Richard Conlon, EMI Recorded Music's Ted Cohen, Sony Music's David Hughes, Warner Bros. Records' Jeremy Welt, Interscope-Geffen-A&M Records' Courtney Holt, Real Networks' Richard Wolpert, MTV Networks' Jason Hirschhorn, AOL Music's Evan Smith, Warner Music's Michael Nash, Virgin Records America's Syd Schwartz, Napster's Brad Duea, Yahoo!
