Frances Preston Gives Keynote at Women United in Giving Fundraiser

Frances W. Preston, President Emeritus of BMI, gave the keynote address at the recent "Come to the Table for a Celebration of Thanks/Giving," a celebration of United Way and the "giving" community of Nashville. More than 450 attended this second annual luncheon at Loew's Vanderbilt Plaza Hotel, raising $112,000 for Women United in Giving of United Way of Metropolitan Nashville.

Sandra Lipman received the inaugural "Women United in Giving - Spirit of Giving" Award. Laura Allen and Linda Rebrovick co-chaired the event, which encouraged attendees to donate warm clothes and nonperishable food goods to the Bethlehem and Cayce Family Resource Centers.
