Composer Tyler Bates Keeping Busy

BMI's Doreen Ringer Ross dropped by the studio to visit composer Tyler Bates who was busy putting the finishing touches on his original score to the remake of classic horror film, "Dawn of the Dead." This modern-day return of the zombies, based on George Romero's 1979 sequel to "Night of the Living Dead," opened March 19 at the top of the box office.

Originally a member of alternative pop/rock band Pet, Tyler's other scores include the hip-hop dance musical "You Got Served" and the Sylvester Stallone action thriller "Get Carter."

Shown at the studio are composer Tyler Bates, BMI's Doreen Ringer Ross and music supervisor G. Marq Roswell.
