BMI Hosts Party at Seattle Arts Festival

BMI held a cocktail party for its songwriters and artists during the annual Bumbershoot, the Seattle Arts Festival held over Labor day weekend. BMI band Minus the Bear, a featured artist during the four-day event, was on hand to mingle with BMI executives.

Shown at the cocktail party are Minus the Bear's Dave Knudson, BMI's Tracie Verlinde, and Minus the Bear's Matt Bayles and Jake Snider.

One of the most interesting and original arts and cultural festivals in the country, Seattle's summer time Bumbershoot offers food, music, the arts and other interesting activities. Held at the 74-acre Seattle Center under the shadow of the Space Needle, Bumbershoot, the Seattle Arts Festival was started by city leaders in 1971 on the grounds of the very successful 1962 World's Fair.
