BMI NY Welcomes Steven Morales

BMI songwriter Steven Morales (2nd left) recently stopped by the New York office to sign some paperwork. Morales, who has been with BMI since last year, is the co-writer of two Enrique Iglesias songs, including the Billboard chart topping hits "Escape" and "Don't Turn Off the Lights." Noted by Billboard as a song that "fosters a feeling of well-being and hope," "Escape" topped the Hot Dance Music Club Play chart in May 2002, while one month later "Don't Turn Off the Lights" was No.1 on the Top 40 chart. Currently, Morales is working on additional tracks for Iglesias along with a slew of other musical endeavors.
