Have You Forgotten’ Remembered with #1 Fete

BMI honored Wynn Varble, co-writer of the patriotic hit "Have You Forgotten?" with a star-spangled #1 party in recognition of the seven weeks the song has spent at the top spot of Billboard's Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. Also saluted at the event were DreamWorks artist Darryl Worley, who co-wrote the song with Varble; producers Frank Rogers and James Stroud; and publisher Warner-Tamerlane Publishing Corp.

Some of country music's top acts have recorded Varble's tunes, including Montgomery Gentry ("Self Made Man"), Kevin Denney ("Cadillac Tears") and Sammy Kershaw ("Fit To Be Tied Down"). The Varble/Worley team also penned the BMI Award-winning song "When You Need My Love," Worley's first single. Varble is currently recording songs for his debut CBS Records release.
