Schultz and Nordeman to Host BMI-Sponsored GMA Songwriter’s Showcase
The musical highlight of Gospel Music Week (April 20-25 in Nashville) is shaping up to be the GMA Songwriter's Showcase, scheduled for Sunday, April 21 from 9:30-11:30 pm in the Grand Ballroom of the Hilton Suites. Sponsored by BMI and hosted by Mark Schultz and Nichole Nordeman, this showcase is an annual celebration of the year's best songs, featuring performances by the songwriters who wrote them and whose hearts are behind them. Songwriters were selected on two criteria: those who were writers of Dove Song Of The Year nominated songs and those whose songs were at the top of the radio charts in several genres. Because of SRO turnout in previous years, the showcase is limited to Gospel Music Week registrants.
