2013 Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Inductees All BMI Writers

Broadcast Music, Inc. songwriters Randy Owen, Jeffrey Steele, Will Jennings and Layng Martine, Jr. will all be inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame during the 43rd Annual Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Dinner & Induction Ceremony to be held on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013, at the Music City Center in Nashville.

The four new inductees will join the 188 existing members when they are officially inducted, with honors going to Will Jennings (“Up Where We Belong” recorded by Joe Cocker & Jennifer Warnes) and Jeffrey Steele (“What Hurts The Most” recorded by Rascal Flatts) in the songwriter category, and Layng Martine, Jr. (“The Greatest Man I Never Knew” recorded by Reba McEntire) in the veteran songwriter category. Alabama frontman Randy Owen will be inducted in the songwriter/artist category, having made famous many of his own songs including “Feels So Right” and “Fallin’ Again.” Congratulations to all four BMI writers!
