BMI Stars Sweep Music Wins at People’s Choice Awards

BMI stars swept the music category at the 29th Annual People's Choice Awards held Sunday night (1/12) at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. Hosted by actor Tony Danza, the fan-voted awards ceremony crowned both country trio the Dixie Chicks and hard rock band Creed as Favorite Group or Band. Superstar rapper Eminem took home the Favorite Male Performer title, while country crossover singer Faith Hill was named Favorite Female Performer.

Nominees and winners of awards in 16 film, television, and music categories were determined by a nationwide poll conducted by the Gallup Organization.
