Jamison Ross, seen here backstage with BMI President & CEO Del Bryant, took home the top prize this year in the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Drums Competition. Ross received his Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies from Florida State University and has performed with Wynton Marsalis and Chick Corea, and is currently a member of the Wes Anderson Quartet.
