Songwriter Tim Nichols celebrated the rise of his tell-all hit, "Girls Lie Too," to the top of the charts with a party at BMI Nashville (9/22). In addition, Warner-Tamerlane Publishing Corp. and producer Byron Gallimore were honored for their contributions to the song, which appears on Terri Clark's Mercury Nashville Greatest Hits release. Nichols co-wrote "Girls Lie Too" with Connie Harrington and Mark D. Sanders, who were also on hand to celebrate the success of their tune.
