BMI Nashville welcomed Mercury Records' act Sugarland to the 6th floor terrace recently, and they wowed the music industry VIP crowd with a high-energy performance. The trio of Atlanta-based singer/songwriters -- Kristian Bush, Kristen Hall and Jennifer Nettles -- will soon release their debut single, "Baby Girl," with their album, Twice the Speed of Life, scheduled to be out in October.

Pictured at the Mercury Records showcase are Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles (lead singer), BMI's David Preston, Sugarland's Kristen Hall (acoustic guitar/vocals) and Kristian Bush (mandolin/vocals).
