BMI Live: from sound check to royalty check

BMI Live

Get Started

BMI Live allows performing songwriters to input up to six months of their performance data to be considered for payment. Songwriters may input their tour information at their convenience for concerts from the previous six months and receive these royalty payments quarterly. Both headliners and opening acts may input tour information, and the program is open to all BMI affiliates.

Performance data may be entered by logging on to BMI Online Services from a desktop computer, a supported mobile device or through the BMI Mobile iPhone app.

Important Dates

Mar 31 2012 Deadline to enter performances between July 1, 2011 and December 31, 2011 for payment in June 2012.
Jun 30 2012 Deadline to enter performances between October 1, 2011 and March 31, 2012 for payment in September 2012.
Sep 30 2012 Deadline to enter performances between January 1, 2012 and June 30 31, 2012 for payment in January 2013.
Dec 31 2012 Deadline to enter performances between April 1, 2012 and September 30, 2012 for payment in March 2013.
