Responsibilities / Duties

  • Responsible for learning basic processing functions to identify writers and publishers on titles; identify titles airing on television programs and update the title, cue and participant databases with the data necessary for the distribution of television royalties to affiliates.
  • Research and determine if titles listed on television cue sheets exist in our title database.
  • Responsible for determining and selecting the appropriate title for use on the cue sheet.
  • Register titles by researching writer and publisher information to determine the correct accounts for royalty collection and payments.
  • Process music details on cue sheets by indicating the correct titles from the title database and adding the music uses and timings to complete the cue sheet in the database.
  • Research television program information and update the cue sheet database with all pertinent information regarding the audio visual production.
  • Identify television performance information to determine the number of performances that should be distributed for each program.
  • Complete training on all television related tools for research and processing.
  • Maintain an acceptable quantity and quality of production items.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 6 months to one year in an office environment preferred.
  • Efficient keyboard skills.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Excellent time management, analytical, decision making and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate work to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact competently with others at all levels, including Management.
