DC Heroes Awards: Washington, DC
Presented by the Washinton, DC Chapter of the Recording Academy at the Willard Inter-Continental Hotel (1401 Pennsylvania Ave. NW). The 3rd annual signature event will honor outstanding individuals and institutions in the D.C. region that have improved the environment for the creative community. Confirmed honorees include Rep. Bill Delahunt, Sen. John McCain, BMI country singer Martina McBride and the Maryland School For The Blind Music Therapy Program.
