Songwriters Showcase @ the Smithsonian: Washington, DC
BMI is a proud sponsor, along with the Songwriters Association of Washington (SAW) and The Smithsonian Associates, of the "Songwriters Showcase at the Smithsonian," taking place at the Smithsonian Baird Auditorium (National Museum of Natural History at 14th and Constitution Avenue, NW). BMI songwriter Lamont Dozier will be the special guest artist.
This showcase will feature the 12 winners selected as part of a songwriting contest (submission deadline September 18th) and will feature songwriters from the Washington,DC area. Genres include pop, adult contemporary, jazz vocals, and R&B.
