Roy Orbison & Friends BMI Showcase: London
Around 30 artists worldwide, mainly unsigned, have recorded versions of Roy Orbison's songs. This invite-only birthday party, organised by Barbara Orbison in conjunction with BMI, will showcase some of this talent at London's Gibson Guitar Studio at 6:30 p.m. The show is being filmed for DVD and all the new recordings will be available via iTunes beginning April 27th.
Performers include the following artists, some of whom were invited via a recent item in SongLink:

• Gary Nock (P&P Songs) - "You Got It"
• Reid & Stanners (Respect Music) - "You're The One"
• Rhys Morgan (Sony Music) - “After the Love is Gone”
• Jamie Hartman (from Ben's Brother) - “Only the Lonely”
• Spencer Gibb (Barry Gibb's son) - “In Dreams” (tbc)
• Aruba Red (Jack Bruce’s daughter) - “You Fool You”
• Seattle-based singer Kaycee Cole - "In Dreams"
• American band Luna Halo - “You’re the One”
• Billy Burnett (ex-Fleetwood Mac) - "Ooby Dooby"
