Saxon Pub’s Platinum Songwriter Series: Austin

Veteran troubadour Phil Thomas composed country classics including George Strait’s “Baby Your Baby,” and Johnny PayCheck’s “Colorado Kool-Aid” and “Me and the IRS,” while in addition to penning the Brad Paisley/Alison Krauss smash “Whiskey Lullaby,” singer, songwriter and guitarist Jon Randall is an alumnus of bands backing Emmylou Harris, Lyle Lovett, Sam Bush and many more. Singer/songwriter Monte Warden will host this event being held at Saxon Pub (1320 S Lamar Blvd, Austin) at 7:00 p.m.
